I'm going to post here to open discussions. Chelsea was awesome enough to hand out the username and password for this place at our meeting tonight. I thought I'd check it out and contribute to the blog and say hey to you for coming.

Everyone comes from different backgrounds, and some may or may not be involved in or familiar with blogging. Also, this is a work in progress for our class so even though things may seem somewhat sparse, this is like watching grassroots before your eyes - FEEL FREE TO ADD CONTENT! PLEEEEASE ADD CONTENT! This is the easiest and most convenient way to let your voice be heard.... add your opinion, write a blog, suggest links, music, graphics... anything. The thing I like most about blogger is the ease of use. Completely in the dark? EMAIL ME with any questions, and as this goes along, we will add administrators, and email link of others who can help you out too. You can also comment with questions if you like.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BECOMING A PART OF THIS TEAM BLOG IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KEEP USING CHELSEA'S EMAIL ADDY:
1. First, you need to set up a blogger account. I know, I know - but it's free and they don't send you crap you don't want, I promise. I've been using this for a few years now. It's also pretty easy to do - I recommend getting a gmail account for this use. Mainly because WE NEED TO GET THE EFF OFF FIRSTCLASS. Firstclass is NOT secure. Plus, gmail works hand in hand with blogger, and it's the "official" email the PR group has decided to use for emailing each other - it's nice to be unified when possible (IMHO).

2. After you have your new not-firstclass account (you can use it if you want, just a suggestion -it's up to you), sign back in here using Chelsea's email and password, and invite yourself to the blog.

Click on the "settings" tab from the "dashboard"
Click the blue "add authors" button
Add yourself AND YOUR FRIENDS!

I have not spoken with anyone on this, but I would imagine that as soon as possible Chelsea may change her password so she can retain some admin rights, but this should work well for the moment... anyone want to discuss this?
